Brynja is the head of publishing and sync at Iceland Sync Management. She started her professional music career at a young age and has a B.A.degree in music from the Iceland Academy of the Arts (2007). She played music professionally for over 15 years with various artists and projects, ranging from the Icelandic Symphony Orchestra to touring the world with Björk.

In 2011 she started working at Iceland's PRO (STEF & NCB) and gained a lot of experience in copyright, publishing and more. During that time she was Iceland's representative in the Nordic Sync Reference Group for 3 years and completed a diploma in international music publishing at Hamburg Media School. After almost a decade at STEF/NCB Brynja joined Iceland Sync Management in spring of 2021.
